Hungarian conceptual polymer clay artist, known as Minerva Sol, an owner of the studio and the same name brand. I live and work in Budapest, Hungary.
I started my artistic life as a stained glass artist. I have been started working with a polymer clay in 2015, used this material to create unique book covers. Step by step, I’ve became interested in another kind of decorative arts — a jewelry making. I was truly fascinated by the idea of designing and making unusual and non-mainstream author’s jewelry.
The main interest for me is the sculptural miniature, modeling and sculpting, and I use other techniques for decoration and realizing various effects.
I use my knowledge of other creative arts and jewellery making and applied them to the polymer clay; thanks to polymer clays and variety of pastes, inks and pigments, I make impression of metals, porcelain and enamel.
In addition to the polymer clay in my artworks I use precious and semi-precious gemstones. and metals for decoration.
In my creative work I mix inspiration from the arts, nature and mysticism. In my works you can find elements of such styles as Art Nouveau, Art Deco, baroque, gothic and many others.
Very important for me to follow my own author’s style, develop and improve it. My work merges the objects of the existing world with the infinite and mystical fantasy.
There is always a touch symbolism and mysticism in my creations. But first of all, my creative search is focused on understanding and communicate beauty in the world around us, be it real or illusory.
